This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Fibonacci Focus mobile application (the “App”). We built Fibonacci Focus to be a simple, privacy-friendly reflex game. We do not require an account, email address, phone number, or password to play.

1. Information We Collect

Fibonacci Focus collects the minimum information needed to run features such as leaderboards and the in-game coin wallet:

  • Device-generated player ID. On first launch we generate a random, anonymous identifier stored on your device. It is not derived from your phone number, hardware serial, or advertising ID, and is used only to associate your game progress (scores, coins, extra lives) with your device.
  • Username. A nickname you choose. Please do not include real personal information (full name, email, phone) as it is shown publicly on leaderboards.
  • Gameplay data. Scores, best score, daily/all-time ranking, Gold Coin balance, and Extra Life balance.
  • Local settings. Sound and haptics preferences, stored locally on your device.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers.

2. How We Use Information

  • Save and restore your game progress.
  • Operate the daily (“Daily Fibonacci Leaders”) and all-time (“Fibonacci Hall of Fame”) leaderboards.
  • Calculate rankings and distribute in-game Gold Coin rewards to daily top players.
  • Manage your in-app wallet (coins and Extra Lives). These are virtual items with no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money.

3. Public Leaderboards

When you set a username, your username and score may be displayed publicly on in-app leaderboards. Do not use a username that reveals personal information.

4. Data Storage & Retention

Gameplay data tied to your anonymous device ID (username, scores, coins, extra lives) is stored on our secure backend to power leaderboards and the wallet. Some preferences and your device ID are also stored locally. We retain data as long as needed to provide these features. You can request deletion at any time (see “Your Choices”).

5. Because There Is No Login

Fibonacci Focus uses device-only identity. Progress, coins, and Extra Lives are tied to the specific device. If you uninstall the App, switch devices, or clear the App’s data, your anonymous ID is lost and your progress cannot be recovered or transferred.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers. The App contains no third-party advertising and no third-party analytics/tracking SDKs. Data may be processed only by the infrastructure providers hosting our backend, solely to operate the App.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It requires no account and collects no contact information. If you believe a child has entered personal information (e.g., in a username), contact us and we will remove it.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data we store. However, no electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices & Rights

  • Change your username anytime from the Home screen.
  • Avoid all server-side storage by not setting a username (the game remains playable offline).
  • Request deletion of your leaderboard/wallet data by emailing us with your in-app username.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes are posted here with a revised “Effective date”. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
